Three army men were killed and two injured after the soldiers of India and Pakistan traded heavy fire and shelling along the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday.

According to PTI news agency, three soldiers were killed and two injured after Pakistan army opened fire on Indian posts in Bhimber Gali sector.

Earlier in the day, a soldier and two civilians were injured in cross-LoC shelling in Shahpur sector of adjoining Poonch district.

Last month, fourteen people, including six forces’ personnel, were killed in cross-border shelling in Jammu division.
