On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Angrez Singh Rana, the salaries of Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars, GQs and field Patwaries have been kept withheld.
As per official spokesman, instructions were issued by Financial Commissioner Revenue, J&K wherein field Patwaries were directed to remain available at the specified places in their respective Patwar Halqas for at least two days in a week exclusively on every Monday and Thursday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm throughout the year so as to ensure that no work of any applicant shall remain pending with them.
In this connection, during various meetings held with officers and officials of Revenue Department District Kishtwar, Deputy Commissioner Angrez Singh Rana time and again has directed Tehsildars and Patwaris of the District to ensure the implementation of the instructions in letter and spirit and directed to furnish the details of specified places of the stay of Patwaries during the said days Monday and Thursday in their respective Patwar Halqas so that same can be circulated for the information of general public.
