After throwing open for public, the bridge connects most of the south city areas with city centre.
It is will reduce the traffic congestion on Solina road and in the city centre as Dalgate, Khanyar, Hazratbal bound traffic coming from south city areas will use this bridge.
The bridge will also be preferred by commuters wanting to reach Soiteng, Lasjan, Padshahibagh, Nowgam and other adjacent areas.
