J&K Govt transferred 4 IPS officers, 1 gets additional charge

Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir Government transferred four IPS Officers and gave additional charge to one.

According to order issued by Shaleen Kabra, Principal Secretary, Home Department, V.K. Singh, IPS (JK:1987), Commandant General, HG/CD & SDRF, J&K, with additional charge of the post of Director, F&ES, J&K has been transferred and posted as DGP (Prisons). He shall, however, continue to hold the charge of the post of Director, F&ES, J&K, till further orders.

Satish Khandaree, IPS (JK:1995), upon completion of term of his Central deputation on May 14, 2019, has been posted as IGP (Prisons); Vijay Kumar, IPS (JK:1997), awaiting orders of posting in the PHQ, has been posted as IGP (Armed), Kashmir; and Sujit Kumar, IPS (JK:2007), in-charge DIG, Jammu-Samba-Kathua Range has been transferred and posted as In-charge DIG, Udhampur-Reasi Range.

Vivek Gupta, IPS (JK: 2007), In-charge DIG Rajouri-Poonch Range, shall hold the charge of the post of DIG, Jammu-Samba-Kathua Range, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
