Jammu and Kashmir is waiting for the government formation since last month and is currently under Governor’s rule. During the process of government formation, the BJP general secretary Ram Madhav had met PDP president in Srinagar on Wednesday evening. Both the leaders deliberated upon the important items relating to the economic assistance and deployment of Army, besides the power projects and smart cities.
The responsibility of further discussions over the agenda of the alliance was given to PDP leader and former Finance Minister Haseeb Drabu who was the co-author of the subject last year also.
The BJP General Secretary along with Drabu had worked on a common minimum programme to which the late CM Mufti Sayeed and Narendra Modi had agreed upon to form government in the state last year. The same exercise will also be repeated between Mehbooba Mufti and Modi this year.
Also, it has been conveyed to Ram Madhav by BJP high command that there is no scope for further delay in the matter.
