J&K : Man killed in Scuffle between two groups

An Elderly man aged 60 years was killed during a scuffle between two groups in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Friday, official sources said.

They said two groups of people clashed at village Chinchar under Police station Alsooa in Bandipora in which a 60 year old Mohammad Issaq Chauhan was critically wounded.

He was rushed to a local hospital for treatment after first aid he was referred to Srinagr as his conditions was stated to be critical.

The deceased later sccumbs to his injurejies on the way to hospital.

The reason of the scuffle was not immediately cleared, sources said.

A case FIR number 04/2018 under section 302 RPC was registered in police Post-Aloosa and investigation was taken up.
