J&K Police arrest two from Geelani’s house


Jammu and Kashmir police have arrested two people from the house of separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani. One of them worked as a minion in the house.

Official sources said Siraj-ud-din Gani was detained from outside Gilani’s house last evening and taken to a police station for questioning.

Sources said Gani, who hails from Tral in Pulwama district, is suspected to have circulated videos of the president of the radical Hurriyat Conference through social media. Police officials declined to comment on Gani’s custody.
