Application process –
The aspirants who are interested and eligible in J and K SI Constable Recruitment need to apply through offline mode by sending the applications in prescribed mode. Candidates must send the applications to Office of the SSP CID Cell at- 11, Harish Chander Mathur Lane, Near Max Muller Bhawan, KG Marg New Delhi-110001

Candidates can obtain the application by paying DD of Rupees – 300 in J&K/ SSP CID Cell New Delhi. For more details, candidates have to wait for some more time.

JKP Constable/ SI 2016-17 Eligibility details –
Educational: Candidates must have qualified matriculation examination/ equivalent from certified board/university/institution
Age limit: Applicants age limit should be between 18-28 years as on 01st of Jan 2016. Upper Age upper relaxation applicable for reserved category candidates as per the govt rule.
Selection process: Candidates will be selected based written test, physical endurance test, physical standard test, medical examination. Finally, the candidates who have recruited have to go through with training for a specified period of time decided by J and K Police department.
Admit cards: Admit cards for Jammu & Kashmir Police department written available in the official page before 15 days of written exam.
Physical Standard Test
For male candidates – Height 5.6 minimum and Chest 33 ½ (expanded)
For Female candidates – Height 5.2 minimum
For Ladakh region and Gorkha community:
For male candidates – Height 5.4 minimum and Chest 33 ½ (expanded)
For Female candidates – Height 5.0 minimum
Physical Endurance Test:
For Male Candidates:
Long race: 1600 meters in 6 minutes and Pushups – 20
Long race: 1000 meters in 6 minutes and Shot puts: 14 ½ feet
Jammu and Kashmir Police Syllabus 2017 (for entry level):
- The written test question paper will carry total of 100 marks
- The question paper consists of multiple choice questions and the exam is for the duration of Two hours based on OMR Sheets.
- The Questions paper questions based on 10th Standard exams.
