Jammu and Kashmir police has rescued six youths who were intending to join militancy in south Kashmir district of Pulwama, a police spokesman said here on Saturday afternoon.
He said six youths, who were intending to join militancy were counselled alongwith their families by police in Pulwama.
The youths were later handed over to their parents, he said.
However, further details about the youths were not disclosed for security reasons.
About one hundred youths were counselled and prevented from joining militancy in the Kashmir valley during the past six months.
