J&K: Six injured after CRPF vehicle hits SUV

Six persons were injured after a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) vehicle hit a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) in Palhallan area of Pattan in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Reports said that an SUV (bearing registration number JK02 AG 0070) heading towards Baramulla was hit by a CRPF vehicle in Palhallan, leaving six persons injured.

Six among the injured were shifted to Srinagar for specialised treatment, said an official.

The injured included a religious preacher Hatif ur-Rehman, a resident of Doda in Jammu region of the state, he said.

The official said that those on board the SUV were heading to Baramulla from Kishtwar for a religious conference.
