JKEDI imparts training to 35 youth under Himayat
POONCH, NOVEMBER 3 – A total of 35 participants hailing from Haveli, Mandi and Surankote were trained by the Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) under the Himayat programme at Poonch.
District Development Commissioner Poonch, Mohammad Harun Malik interacted with the participants and encouraged them to make optimum use of the skill acquired during this training programme and set up their own business units to become self-reliant.
Appreciating the efforts of JKEDI team, he asked them to conduct more such programmes under various entrepreneurship development schemes in the district. The DDC also assured the participants of every possible support from the district administration.
It is pertinent to mention here that JKEDI is a premier institution of the State which conducts various Entrepreneurship Development Programmmes under Himayat throughout the year in which unemployed youth are being provided opportunities to start their own business units.
District Nodal Office JKEDI, Raiyees Manzoor urged the educated unemployed youth of the district to come forward and avail benefits of the schemes implemented by the institute.
