Jammu : State President, Shri Balwant Singh Mankotia, former MLA from Udhampur today held a video conference with several Panthers Party leaders and assessed their opinion on the present bloodbath in the state of J&K and the total collapse of administrative machinery for the past 68 days where more than 75 persons were killed. The JKNPP President interacted with Panthers Party leaders in Kashmir, Doda District, Ramban, Poonch, Rajouri and senior state leaders in Srinagar and Jammu and sought their opinion about the immediate action that party must take to save the innocent people of the state and ensured return of peace and tranquility in the Valley of Kashmir where people have been suffering for want of drinking water, food, medical care and what not. Mr.Mankotia talked to Kashmir Valley leaders including JKNPP Vice President, Masood Andrabi, State General Secretary in Srinagar Manjoor Ahmed Naik, Provincial President (Kashmir Province) Farooq Ahmed Dar, State Secretary, Maqbool Malik, Kashmir Province Youth President. The Panthers Party leadership in Kashmir has been divested of security and Panthers Party workers are literally locked up in their houses with no communication whatsoever. There is no communication network available and the Panthers Party leaders in Kashmir Valley have been living a life worst than prisoners and that is the situation with the entire leadership in the Valley. Their voices are locked rather forzen. Mr. Mankotia also had video conference with leadership in Poonch, Doda and other places.
Mr. Mankotia spoke to JKNPP Vice President, Choudhary Iqbal Mohd. in Bhaderwah, Trade Union General Secretary, Sewa Singh Bali in Ramban, District President, Asfaq Rana, Vice President Poonch, Kuldip Sharma and senior leaders. Mr. Mankotia also spoke to the leadership in Rajouri including District President Mohd. Mustafa Wani and others and assessed their opinion on the situaiton.
Mr. Mankotia also interacted with the state leadeship of the party including its vice president Mr.P.K. Ganjoo, Mr.Sudershan Singh Shishu, State Vice President and State General Secretaries Ms.Anita Thakur, Advocate H.C.Jalmeria, Advisor of JKNPP, Mr. Bansi Sharma and other senior leaders. Mr.Mankotia in his statement to the national press released from New Delhi and other centres appealed the President of India to issue appropriate instructions to the Governor of J&K, Shri N.N.Vohra to invoke Section 92 of J&K Constitution without any delay so that Governor rule is imposed in the state of J&K without any delay as the state has been completely locked up because of the fire and unrest in the Valley of Kashmir which has created a situation endangering the security of the state of J&K. Mr.Mankotia urged the Governor that he should dismiss the Assembly under Section 53 of J&K Constitution and impose Governor Rule under Section 92 of J&K Constitution so that the dignity of human life is protected and security of the innocent citizens of the country shall be provided full security and safety. Mr. Mankotia also urged the Governor to grant Rs.5 lacs compensation to those children who have lost eye-sites because of the pellet guns and Rs.10 lacs to all those who died of bullets or in violence from 8th July, 2016 till the day Governor Rule is declared.
Mr.Mankotia also appealed the Union Home Minister, Shri Rajnath Singh to ensure that Governor Rule is implemented on this day, so that people of Kashmir could celebrate Eid the next day.
Mr.Mankotia on the consultation with the party leadership appealed to the people of J&K including the angry leadership of the Hurriyat Conference to stand together for the restoration of peace and end of draconian rule so that justice shall flow to every home in the state.
Prof.Bhim Singh, in the meantime has made strong appeal to the suffering people of Kashmir Valley while addressing a large gathering of NPP workers at Jantar Mantar demanding end of pellet rule and draconian governance of PDP-BJP in J&K. He congratulated J&K leadership for their hard initiative to raise a common voice in J&K for the return of rule of law, human dignity, peace which is possible only with the end of the present dictatorial and ruthless governance of PDP and BJP in J&K.
