JKP to organize spl training for cops: Agarwal

SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 10: In order to enhance professional capabilities of its personnel, Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) is organizing special capsule course for its trainees.

The trainees who recently completed Basic Training Course (BRTC) from Police Training School Manigam would be imparted the special training at Corps Battle School Khrew.

Additional Director General of Police (Trainings), Mr. Navin Agarwal said this during his visit to Corps Battle School today.

He said that the maintenance of law and order is one of the focused areas for JKP, and it is imperative in the present scenario to introduce latest training skills in all police training institutions in the State. Crime control and investigation techniques are vital part of the training which are being given priority, said Mr. Agarwal.

ADGP along with Principal of PTS Manigam visited the Battle School and took stock of 15-days special training being imparted to the trainees. He disclosed that in the first batch 386 trainees receive the training.
