These candidates held a protest to demonstrate their anger for postponing the exam at last moment. The candidates aggrieved that they travelled from places like Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban etc to Jammu to sit in the exam but the department cancelled the examination.
They said the department should have a separate exam centre for Chenab Valley aspirants in any part of Chenab region as for economically weak aspirants it is hard to travel to Jammu every other day and managing a stay here.
The aggrieved candidates also lambasted authorities at JKSSB with an allegation of playing with the future of the students living in the Chenab Valley area. ” Government should establish separate examination centres so that the aspirants hailing from different remote areas of Chenab Valley could easily appear in the JKSSB written examination”, said a candidate Faizan Ali Tramboo while criticizing the government for creating inconvenience to the appearing candidates.
