JMC assures best possible services at your door step


Jammu, May 12: Commissioner, JMC carried out the sanitation drive in ward no: 12, 13, 14, 59, 60  & 61. On spot assessment of the sanitary conditions and performance of other Municipal services was made and necessary instructions were issued for improvement of civic amenities. The Engineering Section of JMC was asked to undertake minor repairs of lanes & drains immediately.

The team visited different areas of the Wards for making assessment of the sanitation and other services concerning the Corporation

The public representatives highlighted their respective charter of demands which includes proper functioning of existing Water Coolers, functioning of High Mast Lights as well as repair of existing street lights. The Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation assured that Corporation shall render best possible services at the door step of the Citizens and asked them to cooperate in its initiatives.



The officers accompanying the Commissioner were Executive Engineers, Municipal Veterinary Officer /Zonal Officer II (Sanitation), Chief Transport Officer, Sanitation Officers, Sanitary Inspectors and some prominent citizens from the area.

Commissioner JMC also appealed to the general public that house hold waste may be properly got collected and disposed of at collection points / Municipal Bins through safaikaramchari to ensure proper cleanliness in their respective localities and to make Jammu city neat and clean.
