JMC carries out drive against sale of adulterated milk


The Municipal Veterinary Officer, Dr. Zafar Iqbal along with field staff on the directions of Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation, Kiran Wattal conducted a drive at Gujjar Nagar, Talab Khatikan, Sheedi Chowk, Kanji house, Jewel, Gorkha Nagar, University area, Narwal, Gandhi Nagar etc.

During the drive 130 quintals of milk was checked at different areas by way of different methods and fine to the tune of Rs. 5000/- was realized from the defaulters and 15 stray cattle were also lifted by Jammu Municipal Corporation from different areas of the city. Already two teams have been deployed by Jammu Municipal Corporation for lifting of these stray cattle in different areas of city.

Jammu Municipal Corporation has appealed to all the local citizens of the city not to allow their cattles to come on city roads for the safety of human being as well as cattles also. For any grievances please contact on 18001803333, 9419122484 & 9419171687.
