JMC Health wing conducts drive against adulteration
Jammu : Continuing the drive against the menace of adulteration, the Health Officer Jammu Municipal Corporation, Dr Vinod Sharma along with a team
of Food Safety Officers, Assistant Sanitation Officers, Sanitary Inspectors and other field staff conducted an extensive tour in the areas like Gole Puli, Guest House Camp Road today to check the quality of commonly used food items to the general public and inspected various food establishments. The team realized a compounding fee of Rs. 4150 from defaulters and also seized 6 kg of polythene.
The drive will continue and the general public is requested to cooperate with the Jammu Municipal Corporation to make Jammu city free of polythene in this summer season, Health Officer said.
