‘Jobless’ Kashmir School board chief, Shah Faesal’s facebook post triggers debate yet again
‘I am Director of shut schools. I need a job.’, said the post by Director of School Educations, Shah Faesal in his facebook post, Satuday night. The post by Shah Faesal garnered many a eyeballs and reaction poured in within few seconds from people. This is not the first time that the disgrunted 2010 IAS topper from Kashmir, has put forth his opinion on the Social Media platform. Earlier also, the young official had stirred a controversy by posting his critical take on his stand on comparisons being made with slain HM militant, Burhan Wani,
But, this post by Faesal sprouted a number of questions in the readers’ minds. The post, which went viral instantly, clearly refutes government’s claims that only a “handful of people” support the agitation, which erupted following the killing of Hizbul commander Burhan Wani on July 8. His post also countered officials’ claims that schools were operational.
Moreover, the post comes 15 hours after, IAS colleague, Shahid Chowdhary’s boastful post, highlighting the functioning of schools in the restive Valley.
The two statements from two top officials of Kashmir valley are somewhat contradicting in nature, which has left the state government red-faced, with netizens asking who should be trusted as both happen to be young IAS officers.
The post has so far over 450 shares, over 3000 likes and hundreds of comments on the thread. Here are a few comments by the netizens:
