After the controversy surrounding peeling of tinted sheet from KU VC’s SUV, Jammu University Vice Chancellor, RD Sharma took to Facebook to put forth his views regarding the incident. Here’s what the Jammu University Vice-chancellor had to say:

The J&K Vice Chancellor’s forum, a body comprising of all the Vice Chancellors of the Universities in J&K State, has expressed anguish on misbehaviour of a police officer with Prof. Khurshid Andrabi, Vice Chancellor University of Kashmir. Condemning the incident the forum has termed the behaviour of the officer as unprofessional and uncalled for, aimed at harassment and intimidation. The prior presence of the media on the scene also indicates that the action was premeditated and the officer wanted to prove his bravado. In case the officer had noticed anything against the law he should have taken action by producing a challan or charged a fine as per the law. By detaining a respectable person of the society on the roadside he has proven his insensitivity and ignorance. We strictly condemn the incident
