Kanpur Based Devotee Dies of Cardiac Arrest on Mata Vaishno Devi Marg


A devotee who visited Mata Vaishno Devi and his wife died last night due to cardiac arrest in the Ardh Kunwari temple complex on Bhawan Marg. The devotee has been identified as Rajesh Gupta, age 55, son Mahavir Prasad, resident of house number 129/10, L-Block, 40 shop Kidwai Nagar, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

According to the information received from Bhawan Marg, the devotee Mahavir had come to the darshan of Mother Vaishno Devi to celebrate the 25th wedding anniversary with his wife, then during the Vaishno Devi Yatra on Saturday night, before the supernatural visions of Mother Vaishno Devi, in the Ardhakwari temple premises. However, when the holy womb reached for the darshan of Jun Cave, he suddenly became unconscious.

He was immediately picked up by the Shrine Board staff and the police personnel and taken to the dispensary at Ardh Kunwari, where the doctors declared him brought dead due to cardiac arrest. At the same time, the body was taken to the government hospital in Katra for post-mortem, where the doctors handed over the body to his wife after completing the legal formalities. The same police have registered a case and started further action.
