KAS Officers (Junior Scale) Association expresses gratitude to the Government

Jammu, January 22, All J&K Junior Scale KAS Association (AJJSKA) expressed gratitude to the Government for issuing the seniority list as on 01.01.2017 in respect of Junior Scale KAS Officers. The seniority list was issued by the General Administration Department on 21.01.2017.
The All J&K Junior Scale KAS Association (AJJSKA), a duly registered forum representing over 400+ KAS Officers in the Junior Scale of the coveted service, has welcomed this step, which has come after over a year of consistent efforts. AJJSKA thanks the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Ms Mehbooba Mufti, worthy Chief Secretary, Mr B R Sharma, Commissioner Secretary GAD, Mr Khurshid Ahmad and other concerned officers of the General Administration Department. AJJSKA has hoped that the Government puts in more efforts towards smooth functioning of the service so that the young officers, who are undoubtedly the future forbearers of the administration in the State, devote their entire attention and efforts towards serving the people of this state without having to worry about their service matters. While also appreciating the recent elevation of IAS officers to the next grade well within time, AJJSKA requests the same be done in favour of other officers especially the KAS officers in the Junior Scale. Such steps would boost the morale of young officers. AJJSKA also appreciates the fact that the KAS Association and the senior KAS officers have always been a guiding force for the initiatives taken by AJJSKA and hope for the same guidance and support in future.
AJJSKA constitutes of officers from the KAS batches of 2011, 2012.I, 2012.II, 2013 and 2015 till date and already has over 200+ active members. AJJSKA members have put forth their genuine demands of time bound promotion, release of selection grade (long overdue) and removal of pay anomalies, besides creating a general atmosphere of cohesion and concerted efforts between the officers in the Junior Scale, other KAS officers, IAS officers as well as other services and non.gazetted officials, so that the huge potential amongst all these employees is fully realized to benefit the state and its citizens. AJJSKA has reiterated its commitment towards serving the state and its citizens while ensuring that justice is done in the right earnest to the service concerns of these budding young and promising officers.
