KASHMIR, Sep 26 : Army on Tuesday said that one of its posts was attacked near the Line of Control (LoC) in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir. An infiltration bid by 7-8 armed intruders in Keran sector was reported, which was foiled by Indian Army.
An official said that a “close firing incident” was reported near a post in Keran sector of Kupwara, which was “strongly retaliated” by the Indian army.
There have been no casualties from the Indian side. The intrusion was conducted by Pakistan’s Border Action Team at 1300 hours.
