Kashmir is like a Football, therefore is kicked by the national media

Srinagar, May 29:

According to Chief Minister Ms Mehbooba Mufti, Kashmir is like a football and it is kicked by Indian TV on regular basis.

She mentioned that, Issues in J&K are always hyped up by the TV channels which puts the people of the state in negative limelight and therefore affects the tourism of the state, resulting in poor economy.

She blamed media for not covering the story of the young girl from Baramullah, who became the youngest pilot, and neither said anything about the boy who topped the IAS exams this year. Also, the media did not say anything about the boy from NIT Srinagar who has received a Rs 76 lakh salary package during campus recruitment.

Media is only interested in masked people of Kashmir and black and green flags.

Ms Mufti referred to Congress Vice president Rahul Gandhi speaking on the issues in NIT saying that, when youth of J&K were targeted in the educational institutions of various other states, Gandhi did not comment, adding, if such is the level of secularism in the country, God save them from secularists then.
