Kashmir quake: Employees rush out of Secretariat in quandry

Secreterait employees rush out of the Secretariat Building as tremors hit Kashmir.

An earthquake measuring 6.2 on the Richter scale hit Afghanistan on Monday and tremors were felt in India in Jammu and Kashmir, Delhi and Rajasthan, authorities said.

The earthquake, at a depth of 210 km, had its epicentre in Hindukush region and occurred at 3.35 p.m. (India time), an India Meteorological Department official said.
