Srinagar: A general shutdown is being observed across Kashmir valley against the killing of three youths in Pattan area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Three youths were found dead in an orchard in Shutz village on Monday.
Separatist leaders in the valley condemned the killings and appealed people observe a strike to show their anger at what they termed as “cold-blooded murder”.
Shops and other business establishments are closed while public transport is off the roads in summer capital Srinagar and other parts of the valley.
However, skeletal movement of private vehicles has been reported from various areas.
Meanwhile reports of protest and ding dong battle is going in Kakpora area of a Pulwama district. Police and paramilitary forces are on job to bring situation to normal.
