Kashmir : Youth critically injured during clashes at Balhama

A youth was critically injured when a tear-gas shell him during protests at Balhama area in Srinagar outskirts on Saturday.
Several persons were injured, one of them critically, during clashes between protesters and Security forces at Balhama Panthahowk area of Srinagar on Saturday.
Reports said clashes erupted in the area after a body of third militant was recovered from the debris of a house which was gutted on Thursday night in a gun fight between militants and government forces in which two bodies of militants were recovered next day.
Scores of Youth resort to heavy stone pelting on Security forces, Security forces retaliated to disperse stone pelting protesters by tear gas shelling, local sources said.
Sources said, that a youth was hit by teargas shell in his abdomen after forces resorted to teargas shelling to disperse the stone pelting protesters.
The injured youth was identified as Farman Ali, a resident of Balhama and he was shifted to Sub District hospital Pampore.
Clashes were going in the area when reports last came in.
