Kashmiri students open Pizza outlet on campus

Owing to their unusual initiative, the students of the Food Technology Department of the Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), Anwantipora, opened a pizza-cum-bakery outlet on the campus. The students with this launch have taken a step forward towards enhancing their entrepreneurial skills.
The officials said that the products of the bakery are already popular both in and outside the campus. “Pizzeria”, as the students call it, would run on a no-profit, no-loss basis. The locals have given a great response to this venture.
Minister for Education, Naeem Akhtar inaugurated the outlet and appreciated the efforts of the students and the teachers as well. He said that such projects should be taken up by other institutions also as it would help to promote business skills among the youth of valley. This undertaking is a great way of employment too.
