Kashmir’s mountains get season’s first snowfall

Winter has knocked in Kashmir yesterday as Affarwat, Sonmarg and some areas near Amarnath Cave received season’s first snowfall.

Srinagar and plains of Valley were surrounded by clouds but the climate mostly remained dry and warm. The fresh snowfall has brought relief from the heat for the people living in low-lying areas.
