Following the philosophy and ideology of Bharatiya Jana Sangh ideologue Pt. Deendayal Upadhayaya that helping hand should be extended to the last person in the queue, BJP State General Secretaries Ashok Kaul and kavinder Gupta, alongwith other senior leaders, distributed different items among the poor people living in Valmiki Basti in Bakshi Nagar area of Jammu west district.
Jammu West District President Subash Jandial had organized a programme to commemorate the birth anniversary of Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhayaya, wherein some items of day to day use were distributed.
The BJP leaders, on this occasion, said that Pt. Deendayal Upadhayaya was of the view that in our society there is a gap between the rich and the poor and being part of the society we should come forward to ensure that the person who is poor, standing in the queue at last, should be cared and extended every possible help. They said that although the poverty cannot be removed in one day but continuous efforts can bring results.
Sat Sharma (C.A), Chander Mohan Gupta, Subash Jandial, Arvind Gupta, Surinder Choudhary, Er. Ashwani Khosla, Dinesh Gupta, Balwan Singh, Ayodhya Gupta, Praduman Singh, Tripta Jamwal and others were present on the occasion.
