Senior PDP Leader, Vikramaditya singh today visited Kheer Bhawani Asthapan Tullamulla Kashmir where a grand religious mela was held on the auspicious occasion of Jaishth Ashtami, this auspicious religious function is held every year in which thousands of Kashmiri Pandits and devotees from other states take part and seek blessings of mata kheer Bhawani. Vikramaditya Singh was accompanied by his wife, Chitrangada Raje Singh. They performed puja and sought the blessings of Mata Kheer Bhawani. Emphasizing the importance and significance of this auspicious mela, Vikramaditya Singh said that this religious function is a shining example of communal harmony, brotherhood and above all the traditional Kashmiriyat. Extending greetings to the devotees in general and Kashmiri Pandits in particular, Vikramaditya Singh and Chitrangda prayed for peace, progress and amity in the country and the state and prosperity of the people.
On this occasion Chitrangda donated five hundred blankets to the management of the Shrine for the benefit of yatris.
