Kichloo visits lolab, reviews developmental scenario
SRINAGAR: Minister of state for Industries and Commerce, Mr. Sajjad Ahmad Kichloo, today visited Lolab area of Kupwara district and reviewed the pace of ongoing developmental works there.
The Minister was accompanied by senior officers of Police and District Administration.
At Sogam, various deputations headed by former MLA and NC leader, Qaisar Jamsheed Lone met the Minister and presented the charter of demands related to community development, augmentation of water and power supply in the area, etc.
Mr. Kichloo gave them patient hearing and assured that genuine demands would be looked into and resolved at the earliest. He also issued several on spot direction to address some of the immediate needs of the local people.
Later, the Minister visited Zurhama village in Kupwara to condole Peer Farooq Baji over the demise of his son. He expressed his sympathy with the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul.
