Kohli calls for effective coordination between concerned Departments


SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 21: Minister for Transport Mr. Abdul Gani Kohli today reviewed the arrangements for bi-annual Durbar move in a meeting held here at Civil Secretariat.

It was also decided that apart from its main booking counters, SRTC would open additional counters at Civil Secretariat for issuing tickets in advance.

Pertinently, the offices working in Srinagar for five days week would close on October 30, while the ones working for six days would close on Oct 31, and will reopen at Jammu on Nov 9. Advance parties shall leave on Nov 26.

The Secretary Transport, DIG Traffic Kashmir and General Manager SRTC briefed the Minister about their arrangements put in place for smooth movement of Durbar move convoys.

The meeting was also attended by Director State Motor Garages, Deputy Manager NHA1, Joint Transport Commissioner, RTO Kashmir along with other officers.
