J&K Government has asked the private recruiting agency, which conducted the written tests for different posts in Khadi Village and Industries Board to make public the entire merit & and also the OMR sheets of all candidates who had participated in the exam list amid controversy over allegedly fraudulent selections.
In last couple of days many cases have come forward , where kins of powerfull ones have cleared Selctions lists, where many sensed foul play.
“Some days ago the controller examination for selection to different posts in KVIB asked the private agency to make the entire merit list and OMR sheets as well as answer key public so that the candidates, who have appeared in the examination, can check their merit,” the source told Greater Kashmir.
So far the agency has not put in public domain the merit list of the candidates. The directions have gone to the agency after questions were being raised over the selection of Syed Aroot Madni son of ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) vice-president Sartaj Madni, as executive officer in the board.
The ruling PDP-BJP government had come under criticism over the charges of nepotism and favoritism in selection process following which Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti ordered an inquiry into the entire selection process in the KVIB by a chief secretary-led committee. The selection has created a storm in social and political circles of Kashmir.
