In view of the present weather conditions and MET department’s prediction of Snowfall till April 4, Ladakh is sure to get cut off as Zojila pass between Srinagar amd Leh Highway (Highway No. 1) is the terrain which is most badly affected on snowing days. The JKPSC is going to conduct the KAS preliminary examination of CCE 2014 on 05 April 2015. Also, as Ladakh is geographically different to the rest of other two region Jammu and Kashmir, the students appealed to the Hon’ble PSC to consider the ladakh aspirants for Pre CCE 2014 and to postpone the examination and on a suitable date, so that the aspirants of the three regions can appear the examination.
More than 500 aspirants from Ladakh cannot appear the State Top level examination. The JKPSC exam has been postponed twice earlier, owing to different circumstances in the state.
On, March 15, Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed led cabinet had cleared the names of members and chairman of JKPSC, which has been running headless for the last many months and only after a week, JKPSC had then issued a notification announcing dates for preliminary examination.
