Lashkar releases Hit-list of 25 people and threatens to kill them after Eid
Srinagar, September 9: In similar fashion as the Hizbul Mujahideen, Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT), have released a threat Video which is doing the rounds on social media. The militant starts with a religious verse evoking a communal tinge right at the outset and then goes on to greet only the majority population in Jammu and Kashmir which is indicative of the lack of ‘Kashmiriyat’ in what the terrorists and separatists call a freedom movement.
The Laskhar militant invokes slain Hizbul Militant Burhan Wani and the protests that have ensued in the valley quoting deaths of protesters in clashes with security forces over a period of two months.
The militant who seems to be reading through a piece of writing, appeals for ‘unity’ promising that they (LeT) will take this movement (of protests) to its ‘end’
Once again, using the name of religion, the militant appeals to the members of a religion to thwart the actions of what he calls the ‘enemy’.
He warns those in Kashmir working in tandem with Indian government to quit the association claiming that LeT knows the names and addresses of each and every person, even those who think they are hidden from sight.
The militant then goes on to provide a deadline till Eid to all those associated with Indian government to apologise to the deity of a certain religion and join the cause of LeT or else after Eid these people would be killed by LeT.
Finally the militant begins taking names of around 25 people from Baramulla on LeT’s Hit list that also includes 5 workers of the People’s democratic party.
