Srinagar, July 9: The mortal remains of slain militant commander, 22-year-old, Burhan Muzaffar Wani, were handed over to his family at earlier today.
Before the arrival of the cavalcade in Tral, thousands of people were already waiting the arrival of the body.
According to reports people from many different places have reached Tral for Nimaz-i-Jinazah of the new age militancy poster boy scheduled to be held in Eidgah.
Of the seventeen men who formed Burhan Wani’s group in South Kashmir, only three are left today after including Burhan Wani three men died in a gun battle with Special Forces from Cargo Srinagar, SOG and Army’s 19 RR in Bumdoora area of Kokernag in South Kashmir. The other two rebels were identified as Sartaj Ahmad and Parvez Ahmad.
