Major reshuffle in Jammu University


In a significant development, the University of Jammu today effected a major reshuffle in the administration and appointed Prof Keshav Sharma as the Registrar of the varsity. Professor Sharma was earlier serving as the Controller of Examinations and replaced Prof Manoj K Dhar as Registrar.  Prof Dhar has been appointed Adviser to the Vice Chancellor, the post has been created for the first time.

Special Secretary to the VC, Prof Jai Kumar Sharma has also been transferred and posted as the Director, Colleges Development (DCD). Prof Sharma replaced Desh Bandhu Gupta who has gone on a sabbatical leave of one year. As Special Secretary to the Vice Chancellor, Dr. Neeraj Sharma has been appointed. Dr. Sharma had earlier served as the Special Secretary to the Vice Chancellor during the tenure of Prof Amitabh Mattoo. Prof Sanjeev Mahajan, Joint Registrar, Examination Wing, has been appointed Controller of Examinations.
