The Manda Zoo located in Jammu had been losing people’s interest for a long period of time. Empty compartments supposed to have animal species and lack of other attractions had left the residents of Jammu disinterested to visit the zoo.
But, recently new admissions have taken place in Manda zoo. The new comers have a variety of venomous snakes such as Diadem snake, Russell’s viper, Indian rock python and turtles.
Also, the quality of staff at the Manda zoo has improved and the whole campus has been cleaned. The zoo has been expanded marginally across the back side.
Since the advent of Sh. Lal Singh in the Ministry of Forest, Environment & Ecology, new initiatives have come into effect to the rejoice of the people of Jammu.
