Srinagar November 17: Parents and college mates of the young boy who committed suicide after being declared fail in Physics, staged a strong protest in Srinagar demanding action against the college authorities. Mohammad Adnan Hilal was an engineering student who had committed suicide after the college erroneously declared him fail in Physics, his favourite subject.
The result in Physics came as a rude shock for the 17-year-old electronics engineering student, who after being declared failed in his favourite subject, had committed suicide. To worsen the pain of Hilal’s parents, on a re-evaluation it was found that he had not only passed the subject but topped his class.
The ‘indifferent’ evaluation process has left the bright young lad’s parents stunned. They feel that it is not a case of suicide but “murder” as their son actually secured 48 marks in Physics and not 28 as declared earlier.
