The Reasi based Counter Insurgency Force in continuation to their efforts have launched massive search, rescue, evacuation, medical aid, debris clearance, relief and rehabilitation operations in the entire district rendering much needed assistance to scores of people in distress.
Furthering their efforts, the Bagga based Rashtriya Rifles organised a medical camp today, at village Angrala, Mahore Tehsil of Reasi District. The medical camp provided medical assistance in the form of emergency first aid, minor surgery and distributed medicines to approximately 138 of patients. The camp provided medical aid to needy from almost all villages of Gulabgarh area including those from higher reaches of Pir Panjal Ranges who were rescued and brought to lower relief camp established by Army.
Md Abdul whose daughter was badly injured in the landslide said that the Army team came as saviours from Allah and rescued them and saved her by giving first aid and further medical treatment. The assistance rendered by Army in this crucial period suffered by people of the region in the wake of this natural calamity was much appreciated by both civil administration and people of the region.
