JAMMU, MARCH 9: PDP president Mehbooba Mufti has gone to New Delhi on the mission wheather she should make the alliance with the BJP or not, for the government formation in the state.

She said she was ready to follow the path of late Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and has visited New Delhi yesterday morning in a private airline.

Mehbooba went to the national capital, where the Budget session of Parliament was going on, with a make-or-break mission on government formation.

“If the Government of India agrees to implement the ‘Agenda of Alliance’, a state government will be formed without wasting much time,” said a PDP source.

All eyes will be on New Delhi, hoping that will these parties be able to give a stable government for five years.

After Mufti’s death on January 7, Mehbooba wanted confidence-building measures before government formation, but after a two-month standoff, shifted her stand and wanted implementation of the ‘Agenda of Alliance’.
