JAMMU: Eight students of MIET including six from Computer Science and Engineering and two from Information Technology Engineering got placed in TechAspect Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad at an annual package of 3.70 lakhs per annum. The drive was conducted at Sri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), Katra. The selected students were Rajet Veshin and Aditi Dutta (IT) and Arshina Singh, Nitin Bhandari, Anam Malik, Aditi Gupta, Nausheen Saraf and Priya Nargotra (CSE).
Brig. P.N Sharma, Training and Placement officer attributed the stellar performance of the students to the implementation of the Skill Development Matrix for each student under which specific skills and training are provided to students in a phased programme. Personality development sessions are also a routine feature at MIET for all students. Another innovation which MIET has adopted was the introduction of the quality analytics software which provides deep insights into performance of each student including automatic generation of authenticated resumes of students.
