Ministers express anguish over Simthan road accident

SRINAGAR: The Council of Ministers has expressed anguish and deep sorrow over the road accident at Simthan Top today in which nine officials of Animal Husbandry department lost their precious life.
Deputy Chief Minister, Tara Chand, Minister for Finance & Ladakh Affairs, Mr. A. R. Rather, Minister for Public Enterprises, Haj, Auqaf and Floriculture, Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed, Minister for Rural Development and Panchayats, Mr. Ali Mohammad Sagar, Minister for Forest, Environment and Ecology, Mian Altaf Ahmad, Minister for Health & Medical Education, Mr. Taj Mohi-ud-Din, Minister for Urban Development and Urban Local Bodies, Mr. Nawang Rigzin Jora, Minister for PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control, Mr. Sham Lal Sharma, Minister for Agriculture Production, Mr. Ghulam Hassan Mir, Minister for Social Welfare, ARI & Trainings and Public Grievances, Ms. Sakina Itoo, Minister for Housing, Horticulture, Culture, Youth Services & Sports, Mr. Raman Bhalla, Minister for Higher Education, Mr. Mohammad Akbar Lone, Minister for Consumer Affairs & Public Distribution and Transport, Choudhary Mohammad Ramzan, Minister for Planning & Development, Labour & Employment, Mr. Ajay Sadhotra, Minister for Tourism, Mr. Ghulam Ahmad Mir, Minister for R&B and Mechanical Engineering, Mr. Abdul Majid Wani and Minister for Law, Justice & Parliamentary Affairs, Mir Saifullah in their joint message have expressed condolences with the bereaved families and prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls.
Meanwhile, Minister of State for Revenue, Relief & Rehabilitation, Mr. Ajaz Ahmad Khan, Minister of State for Fisheries, Cooperative, Printing & Stationery and Elections, Dr. Manohar Lal Sharma, Minister of State for Industries and Commerce, Mr. Sajad Ahmad Kichloo, Minister of State for Science & Technology and Information Technology, Mr. Feroz Ahmad Khan, Minister of State for Animal & Sheep Husbandry, Mr. Nazir Ahmad Gurezi and Minister of State for Technical Education, Mr. Vikar Rasool Wani have also expressed their condolence over the tragic incident.
