Modi government marks a new beginning in post independence era: Jugal



After completion of six months in office of Narendra Modi led NDA government, BJP State President & MP Jugal Kishore Sharma addressed a press conference where he enumerated the achievements made by it. He said that the achievements are multifaceted, multifarious and mark a new beginning in the post independence era of the country by putting it on track for fast growth and progress of all and of every region of the country.

Jugal Kishore Sharma said that after about ten years of high rate of inflation, the price-rise has been firmly checked and inflation has been reduced to zero rate. This has been achieved by taking bonafidely firm steps, like creating price stabilization fund, ensuring  proper price for the commodities imported, checking hoarding and black marketing etc. Petrol price has been brought down to Rs. 61.33 from Rs. 71.45, diesel price has been brought down from Rs. 57.28 to Rs. 50.51.  SIT has been created to bring back black money stashed away in foreign banks and countries by Indian citizens. Adopting make in India philosophy for the country, Institutional arrangements have been put in place for skill development of the youth to make their employment easy by setting up a separate ministry for this. Corruption is being sincerely and resolutely checked by introducing transparency in the by using Information Technology etc. The work culture of the cabinet has been given a complete makeover and it is working now as a team India, with entire country’s welfare and development being in focus.

Narendra Modi led NDA government has also commenced to tackle policy issues head on and thereby done away with the policy paralysis of previous government. Various innovative measures are being taken keeping in view the long term perspective of the needs of the country which would ensure growth and progress even after many decades, which include creation of hundred smart cities with allocation of Rs. 7060 crores, setting Urban facilities in rural areas, making banking available to poor under Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana which now has 4.58 crores accounts in rural areas while it has 3.14 crore accounts in Urban areas, providing tax relief to middle class by raising the tax free limit from Rs. 2 to Rs. 2.5 lakh and Rs. 2.5 lakh to Rs. 3 lakh for senior citizens, fulfillment of one rank one pension demand of the ex-servicemen, make agriculture not only a source of employment but also make it profitable and has launched Pradhan Mantri Krishi Seenchai Yojana, soil testing laboratories and Minimum Support Price for agriculture products. Narendra Modi has taken personal interest in making India a neat and clean country by launching Swacche Bharat Abhiyan, creating a ministry for cleaning the rivers with special stress on Ganga, setting up Rashtriya Gokul mission  and allocated Rs. 500 crore for several programmes for the protection of cows.  The prestige and standing of the country has been enhanced by the firm decisive policies on the foreign front by Narendra Modi led government.
