Modi’s effigy burnt at JNU on Dussehra

JNU did it again.JNU is again in spotlight for its activities this time on the eve of Dussehra  NSUI (national student union of india) activist burnt an effigy  of  Narinder Modi ,BJP  president Amit shah and others. One of the heads on the effigy was that of JNU vice-chancellor Jagadesh Kumar. The effigy also had faces of Yoga guru Ramdev, Sadhvi Pragya, Nathuram Godse and Asaram Bapu.

The congress backed student group burnt the effigies on the premises on Tuesday. The main idea behind this was to represent Modi and shah as demons who promote evil ideas. NSUI  sunny Dhiman leader said that Modi and Shah are spreading Hindu fundamentalist ideas.

BJP-affiliated Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) called the protest an anti-national move and said it was planned only after the surgical strikes by India against Pakistan.

The JNU administration had recently served notices to four students for burning an effigy of the Prime minister.
