Mufti greets people on Raksha Bandhan

SRINAGAR, AUGUST 28: Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, today greeted people on Raksha Bandhan and expressed hope that this auspicious occasion would bring in a new dawn of peace, brotherhood and prosperity in the State.
In his message of felicitations, Mufti Sayeed said Raksha Bandhan is one of the greatest symbols of India’s cultural ethos, which symbolizes the special bond that exists between brothers and sisters. He said the festival has a huge significance for our state as the annual Shri Amarnathji Yatra concludes on this day and devotees pay obeisance at the Holy Cave.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister also prayed for the welfare and safety of the people of J&K State.
