Mufti stakes claim for government formation, PM to attend swearing-in function on Sunday  

Srinagar:  Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed today staked claim to form the next government in the state. This followed his unanimous election as the leader of the PDP legislature party that emerged as the single largest party in the recent election. The meeting of legislature party was held here today. Senior leader Ab Rehman Veeri presided over the meeting.

The development followed the meeting Mufti had with the Prime  Minister Narendra Modi  in New Delhi earlier in the day. In his letter to governor Mufti informed him that with the support of the BJP the PDP led coalition would enjoy a  clear majority and was  in a position to provide a stable government in the state in the wake of a split verdict.

The swearing-in ceremony will be held at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium of the Jammu University at11:00 AM on Sunday March 1st 2015.

Speaking to media persons after his meeting with Prime Minister, Mufti said the PM Narendra Modi would be attending the swearing-in function after which a joint press conference would be held by the two leaders.

    Modi is still to learn politics from kashmiris,who humiliated him & his BJP as except one all their candidates lost their deposits.He may bless those who to sprinkle salt on last 67 years of Jammu hearts whom kashmiri rulers just treated as their second fiddle.Jammu as in past was victim of JAI CHANDS,this time too can find praising high PDP and its leaders.
