Mula Ram visits Kangrail, Khabahdangah villages; takes stock of situation flood like situation
Former Minister and Vice President J&K Pradesh Congress Committee Mula Ram today rushed to Village Kangrail and Khabahdanga of Raipur-Domana Constituency today, where people have suffered heavy loss of cattle and house hold property due to waterlogging. He immediately reported the matter to the District Administration and the DC Jammu also reached there and took stock of the problems, arising due to water-logging.
He said that water entered into the houses, and damaged the planith, boundary walls. Many cattle were killed and household material submerged in the water. The electric power supply has been disrupted and the road-connectivity system has collapsed. This all was aused due to poor drainage system in the area. Mula Ram also demanded immediate ex-gratia relief to the affected people and compensation for the loss they suffered, besides restoration of essential services in the area.
PCC leader also toured other areas and met the party workers who complained about the poor supply of electric power in their respective areas and said that it is due to non-maintenance of Electric Transformer Station. Talanter Singh-Block President, Ran Pratap Singh, Balbir Singh, Diya Ram, Raju Panch and Kuldeep Raj accompanied him during the tour.
