Narayna hospital giving expired medicine to patients?


Katra: A case of  negligence came into the light, when someone discovered that staff of shri mata vaishno devi narayana superspeciality hospital was making it’s patients consume expired medicines. It was discovered that the staff was giving expired drugs to the patients as no mechanism for checking has been set in place, as per reports in local daily Jammu Kesari.

Vikash Jandyal and varun Jandyal R/o of Udhampur had admitted their mother at shri mata vaishno devi narayana superspeciality hospital Katra, for her better treatment. Later they found out that the hospital staff is making their mother eat expired Medicine.
As soon as they discovered this, they registered a complaint with concerned authorities, but authorities didn’t take any visible action. Henceforth, they took the photograph of the expired medicine and uploaded it on social Media,
As, soon as the image of the expired medicine went viral on the social networks, administration immediately issued an order to probe the matter.Now, patients and their relatives are furious over this incident and questioning the working structure of the Hospital.
