Two little kids from Kanpur, 13-year-old Sushant Mishra and his eight-year-old brother Tanmay Mishra wrote a letter to the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi asking for his help. Their father Saroj Mishra who is 50-year-old and is a tailor by profession has been suffering from a lung disease from last two years.
From the last six months, his health is weakening due to which he is not able to work anymore which is creating problems for the family.
The kids planned to write a letter and forward it to Narendra Modi explaining the medical condition of their father in detail and requested the Prime Minister to help them.
The letter sent by the kids reads, ”We are Sushant Mishra and Tanmay Mishra, sons of Saroj Mishra. Our father is a tailor by profession but since last two years he is suffering from asthmatic disease. We have tried everything to collect money for his treatment but we do not have any source for the help. Kindly help and save our father”.
Luckily, the letter was received by the Prime Minister’s office and not only did they reply but also offered medical assistance free of cost.
The reply reads,” PMO office has received the letter. We will assure that the staff of the Ursula Hospital will provide the required medical assistance to your father”.
Further, Kanpur’s District Magistrate Kaushal Raj Sharma replied to the letter saying that their father has been taken to the hospital and his treatment has started.
Later while talking to a national daily, Saroj Mishra said that his condition was deteriorating and there were no sources for financial assistances. His relatives and neighbours have helped them for five months but after few months, the condition was such that he did not had money to deposit school fee of his sons.
